3 years agoMatt. Thanks for the clarification - that is great news. I love this game both for the gameplay and how it leverages and is loyal to the flavor of the setting.

3 years agoOne idea on new cities that might be a bit more radical, would be to tie Havens to the City. This would mean that, by default, all of of the existing Havens would be tied to San Fran.
Why? The San Fran city deck has a lot of cool events that are tied to the city, and any new deck would need to replicate that type of flavor. But additionally, many of the Haven cards are also tied to the city of San Francisco, at least from a game world perspective. Many of the cool things mentioned about other cities in this thread are focused on locations/buildings in those cities, and the best use of (some of) those buildings would be as Havens.
This is admitedly more of a stretch and would mean that games would have to be predefined as which city deck will be used, etc.

3 years agoImho, there could be templates for City Decks.
Prague does not have "San Francisco Fog" or "Castro Street Party", but maybe "Clock chimes", "Puppetry Museum", "Mucha Gallery", "Seven Bridges" and of course the Castle "Pražský hrad".
There should be Templates for different City Decks - Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, St. Petersburg, Dehli, Jerusalem, etc. With some cards usable in most cities and other very specific to some or just one city.
The Athlete may be ubiquitous, whereas the skateboarder maybe not.
There may be other Antagonists in different cities.
